NSM Scholarships

Provides two scholarships: one for a student majoring in science in NSM and one for a student majoring in languages.

This scholarship is awarded to Life Sciences students, with preference to Biology and Plant Biology majors. Students must demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.

This four-year award of $4,000 per year provides a need-based award to an incoming student in engineering, the physical sciences, or mathematics. It will next be awarded in 2009. Recipients must be the son or daughter of a permanent Raytheon employee who has been accepted to the University for full-time study. Selection is based on academic promise, involvement with extracurricular activities, and financial need. This four-year scholarship is contingent on satisfactory progress in the specified degree program.

The Eugene Isenberg Award provides funding and co-op opportunities for students who demonstrate academic merit and a commitment to the interrelatedness of science or engineering and management.

Currently enrolled students may apply via paper and on-line in the Isenberg School of Management during the application period each spring.

This scholarship offers funding during the junior and senior year to a female undergraduate who is committed to teaching math or science.Scholarship closed until 2011.

Provides 2 $2,500 scholarships to students majoring in the life sciences in NSM; preference given to students from the Pioneer Valley.

Each year, Alumni Association Student Awards are presented to more than 100 worthy students campus wise. Alumni volunteers help select award and scholarship recipients and participate in student ceremonies to celebrate their achievements.

This cash prize is to be awarded to a graduating senior from one of the Five College institutions (not necessarily an astronomy major) for a thesis or other research paper on an astronomical or astrophysical topic.

Recipients of this fellowship are full-time graduate students in their second year or later who are U.S. citizens and pursuing a Ph.D. in chemistry. Preference is given to students who have financial need, demonstrate outstanding performance in research or teaching, and are interested in pursuing a career in either area.

The Bay State Fellowship provides a tuition-free masters degree, accompanied by a small assistantship, for any undergraduate computer science major who completes the program with an overall GPA of at least 3.60.
