Provides two scholarships: one for a student majoring in science in NSM and one for a student majoring in languages.

Otto Degener Scholarship Endowment
Life Sciences

This scholarship is awarded to Life Sciences students, with preference to Biology and Plant Biology majors. Students must demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.

Francis M. Dowd Scholarship Fund
NSM/Astronomy/Physics/Chemistry/Math/Engineering

This four-year award of $4,000 per year provides a need-based award to an incoming student in engineering, the physical sciences, or mathematics. It will next be awarded in 2009. Recipients must be the son or daughter of a permanent Raytheon employee who has been accepted to the University for full-time study. Selection is based on academic promise, involvement with extracurricular activities, and financial need. This four-year scholarship is contingent on satisfactory progress in the specified degree program.

The Eugene Isenberg Award provides funding and co-op opportunities for students who demonstrate academic merit and a commitment to the interrelatedness of science or engineering and management.

Currently enrolled students may apply via paper and on-line in the Isenberg School of Management during the application period each spring.

Robert & Kathleen Mahoney Scholarship
NSM

This scholarship offers funding during the junior and senior year to a female undergraduate who is committed to teaching math or science.Scholarship closed until 2011.

NSM

Provides 2 $2,500 scholarships to students majoring in the life sciences in NSM; preference given to students from the Pioneer Valley.

NSM

The recipient of this $1000 scholarship to a full-time student enrolled in the College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics will demonstrate financial need and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
