Biomedicine Initiative

NSM's biomedical research will dramatically improve our health. Through studies of the molecular basis of degenerative diseases, nanomedicine, and gene and molecular therapeutics, NSM scientists are developing sophisticated new medical tools to revolutionize medicine. They are designing diagnostic tools for early detection of disease, nanoparticles for drug delivery systems that isolate cancerous tissues, immunologically compatible implants, tissue and bone repair, and other novel disease therapies.
